We were given the opportunity to develop a game a mobile game for the BBC, working with P2Games as a publisher. In this project I suggested using Unity/C# to take advantage of its cross9-platform development potential as previous titles we worked on such as Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom had required us to develop two versions of the app in java(android) and Obj-C(iOS) and I was given the project to develop. As the sole programmer on the project I produced the application over an 8 week period, the game was split into 5 mini-games that children could play. Upon its release it reached 4th in the children’s app store on iOS and was also top 10 on android. After the success of the release the BBC decided to enter into an ongoing development agreement with the company whereby it was able to develop IPs belonging to the BBC with a profit sharing system in place.
